This series is a salute to the moments of intimacy people enjoy in small businesses. The idea of making a series of barbershops came to me from some pleasant news I read that many local barbers in different countries are offering free haircuts to residents during quarantine. I wanted to create a proper goodbye to the times of chitchat we had with strangers, an old-fashioned way of life which is seemingly slowly fading away under the current global pandemic.
The barbershop to many people is a place that turns boys to men, a place to socialize and have a nice conversation, a place to relax their body and empty their mind, to come out with a fresh look and move on.
