Initially similar to Cytus II, during production Dino's Adventure's gameplay changed
dramatically. Characters can run, jump, and shoot enemies in time with the rhythm of
the background music. In the most recent version of the demo, an energy bar appears
above the character helping to prompt the rhythm with a mouse aiming mechanism.
Subsequent levels of the game are still in production and will involve a series of puzzles
and plots with the same core gameplay.
In the design and iteration, I mainly consider how to enrich the player's gaming
experience in limited 2D behavior. In an era where 3D games are prevalent, I hope that
this retro 2D platform game will bring simple happiness to everyone.
