Memories of Assateague

In the summer of 2020, I visited Assateague Island on the Eastern shore twice. Each time I hiked along the marshland trails, walked along the beach, and swam in the ocean. Throughout, I spotted countless birds and other wildlife. As a bird watcher and nature enthusiast, I observed these animal friends with astonishment, joy, and inspiration. Once I had my hands on my pencil and sketchbook, I quickly sketched ideas to capture the essence of my experience.
